Hello, Singapore: Sampan Labs is open
Two founders, one shared desk and a plan to help small teams ship real software.
Today, Arjun and I are opening Sampan Labs, a small product studio for founders and businesses in Singapore and the region.
Between us we have spent almost twenty years building software for banks, logistics companies and large retailers. We have seen what good product work looks like. We have also seen how rarely it reaches the businesses that make up most of the economy: the provision shop, the tuition centre, the two-person startup.
What we’ll do
- Design and build websites, apps and SaaS products, end to end
- Keep teams small and clients close
- Use new tools, including AI, where they make us faster without making the work worse
- Write honestly about what we learn, here in this journal
For now we’re working from a shared desk on Tanjong Pagar Road. If you have an idea, a problem or a spreadsheet that’s getting out of hand, come and say hello.
