Sampan Labs Pte. Ltd. (“Sampan Labs”, “we”) respects your privacy and complies with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and our services, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Details you send us through the project form or by email: name, company, work email and anything you choose to tell us about your project.
- Applications for jobs: your CV, portfolio and contact details.
- Aggregated, cookieless visit statistics from our hosting provider, Cloudflare (pages visited, referring site, device type and approximate country). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Third-party services on this website
- The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to serve pages and protect against abuse.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
- The project form sends your answers to our form-handling service so we can read them; it does not set cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare proposals.
- To assess job applications.
- To deliver services under a contract with you.
- To improve this website.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
AI tools
We use business-tier AI tools that are contractually prohibited from training on our data. We do not enter personal data from enquiries or client systems into AI tools.
Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the studio (email, hosting, form handling, accounting), under written agreements, or where required by law. Some of these providers store data outside Singapore; where they do, we make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
Retention
Enquiries that don’t become projects are deleted after 24 months. Unsuccessful job applications are deleted after 12 months unless you ask us to keep them longer.
Your rights
You may ask to access or correct your personal data, or withdraw consent for its use, at any time.
